Renishaw offers two kit types available in m4 m6 m8 and 1 4 20 thread sizes. A kit consists of one base plate and a comprehensive set of components. This solid aluminum nonmagnetic fixture plate also known as a breadboard has been hard coat anodized for increased abrasion resistance and durability. Alpha numeric markings around the edges of the plates make it easier to identify holes and repeat tasks.

Use acrylic plates on vision systems. The type of parts you are going to fixture will determine which kit you choose. Use aluminum plates with cmms and optical comparators. Fixture plates have a grid of 1 4 20 threaded holes spaced 1 2 apart for attaching components.

Rayco cmm fixture plates come in cast aluminum steel and acrylic. Renishaw cmm fixtures can be purchased in preconfigured kits and additional components can be purchased separately.
